A peek at what we make

About GW Pens

Hello! My name is John Greco, Owner and Operator of GW Pens, formerly known as Greco Woodcrafting. I started my business in April 2008 making wooden toys from my NJ workspace and have gone through some product changes since then. Four years ago I started making pens full time and I haven’t looked back!

Over the years I began using material besides wood, like acrylics, acetates, and stone. It seemed it was time for a fresh name that more accurately reflects my business.

It was a tough decision, as I had developed a good name for Greco Woodcrafting. I have a line of pens carried by the Philadelphia Independence Seaport Museum, and have been commissioned to make pens for President Obama and His Royal Highness Prince Henry of Wales. The good news is the name is all that has changed; the level of attention to detail is just as high as ever.

I’ve always been a bit of a pen collector, which has only further fueled my passion for making a true heirloom quality pen.

The stone pens I make are unlike anything I’ve seen anywhere else. I love being able to offer such a unique line of handcrafted pens. Of course I don’t work exclusively with stone. If you have an idea for a wedding, anniversary, birthday, corporate gift, or just to treat yourself, let me know! I love working with clients on custom orders.

Right now GW Pens is just me, but I couldn’t do it without the support of my wife and 2 children. When I’m not spending time with my family or making pens, I enjoy working with the Woodbury Rotary Club where I have been a member for the past 2 years and have served on the Board of Directors for the past year. Thanks for reading and please feel free to ask any questions you might have.

Kindest Regards,

John
